"Ecobiological Choreography" which corresponds to my TFM in Architecture. This is an original and innovative project whose objective is to preserve a living being essential for the diversity of natural heritage: the bee; in an environment of our geography that promotes culture and the local economy.
The problem it aims to solve is the dramatic decline of the western honey bee Apis mellifera, which puts the entire natural ecosystem and life on the planet at risk. Likewise, the towns dedicated to beekeeping have suffered a progressive emptying of important cultural and socioeconomic consequences.
The project proposes to carry out the rehabilitation of the town of La Hiruela, through a comprehensive intervention that recovers the heritage elements of the distinctive architecture of the Sierra Norte of Madrid, generating a reactivation of beekeeping based on the latest scientific advances and increasing the educational and tourist interest of the municipality.

The arguments that would justify the quality of the project are summarized in the following points:
- It would promote high-quality beekeeping by proposing an interdisciplinary team made up of beekeepers with a long tradition, together with biologists and botanists through the construction of an observatory and a high-tech laboratory.
- It would mean a demographic improvement in the town with reactivation of its economy through the sale of local products, educational and tourist visits of scientific and tourist interest, which collect the history and essence of the village, to promote this tradition and give it a new architectural and bioecological context.
- The global population as a whole would be intervened, through the occupation of ten empty houses including the interstitial spaces, the exterior spaces, where interaction would occur both outside and inside.
- A solution to the water problem in La Hiruela is proposed, which is integrated with the beekeeping project. The intervention will give rise to a garden of different varieties of honey flora that will attract pollinators in large quantities.
- Additionally, this project will beautify the urban landscape of the town, making it more attractive to new residents.
- Lastly, it will promote people's respect for nature and the contribution of bees through a striking view and solid work.
